Welcome to GoJelly. By accessing or using our website at gojelly.com.ng, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

GoJelly is a Nigerian online marketplace platform that connects individuals who want to earn money online (workers) with businesses and individuals who need tasks completed (job posters). We also operate a peer-to-peer marketplace for goods and services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use GoJelly.
• You must be a Nigerian resident or citizen (or legally permitted to conduct business in Nigeria).
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• One account per person — multiple accounts are strictly prohibited.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. GoJelly will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account. You must notify us immediately at support if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use GoJelly only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Submit fraudulent, fake, or misleading task proof.
• Create multiple accounts to game the platform.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to perform tasks.
• Post illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.
• Solicit other users to transact outside of GoJelly to avoid fees.

5. Payments & Escrow

All job payments are held in escrow by GoJelly and released only upon task approval or auto-approval after 24 hours. GoJelly charges a platform commission on completed tasks. Wallet balances are in Nigerian Naira (NGN).

6. Marketplace Listings

Users may post listings for goods and services on the GoJelly marketplace. All listings must be accurate, legal, and deliverable. GoJelly reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our policies without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and software on GoJelly are the property of GoJelly or its licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any GoJelly content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

GoJelly is a platform intermediary. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or legality of listings or job postings. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, GoJelly's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

GoJelly reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your wallet balance may be forfeited if the termination was due to fraudulent activity.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-platform notification. Continued use of GoJelly after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
