How to Withdraw Survey Earnings to Your Nigerian Bank Account
Earning from surveys is one thing. Getting the money into your account is what matters. Here’s exactly how withdrawals work on GoJelly — and why many survey sites make it so hard for Nigerians.

On GoJelly, survey rewards show as Pending while they’re checked, then move to your earning balance. Once your earning balance reaches ₦2,000, you can withdraw to your Nigerian bank account Monday to Friday. You can also use your earnings to buy airtime any day, including weekends. Always withdraw to a bank account in your own name.
Many Nigerians have had this experience: you spend weeks answering surveys on an international site, finally reach the payout threshold — and discover it only pays through PayPal, which most Nigerian accounts can’t receive, or in gift cards you can’t easily use. That’s why “how do I withdraw?” is the first question you should ask about any survey platform, not the last.
This guide covers withdrawals step by step. If you’re just getting started, read how to earn money answering surveys in Nigeria first.

Why Withdrawals Are Hard on Many Survey Sites
Before you invest time in any survey platform, check how it pays. Here are the payout methods you’ll come across, and what each one means for someone in Nigeria:
| Payout method | What it means for Nigerians |
|---|---|
| PayPal | Most Nigerian PayPal accounts can send money but can’t receive it, so PayPal-only sites are a dead end for many people. |
| Gift cards | Paid as vouchers for foreign stores. You can’t spend them easily here, and selling them through traders exposes you to bad rates and scams. |
| Payoneer or other USD wallets | Can work if the site supports it and you have a verified account. You then convert to naira, sometimes with fees. |
| Crypto | Price changes and conversion steps add risk. Some sites use it for small payouts. |
| Direct to a Nigerian bank account in naira | The simplest option: no conversion and no middleman. This is how GoJelly pays. |
Payout options on international sites change often — always check a site’s current payment page before you start.

Step 1: Understand Pending vs Earning Balance
When you finish a survey, the reward doesn’t go straight into your withdrawable balance. It appears as Pending under Survey Rewards while the survey company checks the quality of your answers. The date it should clear is shown beside it. After that, it moves to your earning balance automatically.
This checking period protects everyone: it’s how survey companies catch rushed or fake answers. It’s also why careful, honest answers matter — rewards from low-quality responses can be cancelled before they clear. Our guide on why paid surveys disqualify you explains what causes rejected rewards.
Say your earning balance is ₦1,400 and you have ₦350 of survey rewards still pending. You can’t withdraw yet — but when the pending rewards clear, you’ll be at ₦1,750. A few approved microtasks on top can take you past ₦2,000. Surveys and tasks add up in the same earning balance.
Figures are only an example to show how the balance works.
Step 2: Withdraw to Your Bank Account
Check your earning balance
Log in and check that your earning balance is at least ₦2,000. Pending survey rewards don’t count until they clear.
Make sure it’s a weekday
Bank withdrawals can be requested Monday to Friday. At the weekend, you can still buy airtime (see below), or wait until Monday.
Open the withdrawal page
Go to the withdrawal section of your dashboard and choose the bank withdrawal option.
Enter or confirm your bank details
Select your bank and enter your account number. Use an account in the same name as your GoJelly profile — mismatched names are a common reason withdrawals fail.
Verify the request
For your security, you may be asked to confirm with your security PIN and a verification code sent to your email. Check your spam folder if the email doesn’t arrive.
Confirm and keep a record
Review the amount and details, confirm, and take a screenshot of the confirmation in case you need to contact support.

Create Your Free Account →Option: Buy Airtime Any Day
Need credit on a Saturday night? You don’t have to wait for Monday. GoJelly lets you use your earnings to buy airtime for MTN, Airtel, Glo or 9mobile directly from the withdrawal page — any day of the week.
Choose the network, enter the phone number and amount, confirm with your security PIN, and the airtime is sent. Double-check the phone number before you confirm — airtime sent to a wrong number usually can’t be reversed.
“Bank withdrawals on weekdays, airtime any day. Plan your cash-out around that and you’ll never be stuck.”
Withdrawal Problems and How to Fix Them
“I can’t see the bank withdrawal option”
Check the day. Bank withdrawals are available Monday to Friday. At the weekend, only airtime is available.
“My balance is below ₦2,000”
Wait for pending survey rewards to clear, take more surveys, or complete a few live microtasks to reach the minimum.
“My survey reward is still Pending”
That’s normal. Check the date shown beside the reward — it moves to your earning balance after the checking period.
“My survey reward disappeared or was cancelled”
The survey company rejected the response in its quality check — usually because of rushing, inconsistent answers, a failed attention check, or a VPN. Future rewards will clear if you avoid those habits.
“My withdrawal failed”
The most common causes are a wrong account number, a name mismatch, or a temporary bank network issue. Check your details and try again on a weekday. If it still fails, contact GoJelly support with your screenshot.
“I didn’t receive the verification email”
Check your spam or promotions folder, make sure the email on your account is correct, and wait a few minutes before requesting a new code.
Keep Your Earnings Safe
GoJelly staff will never ask for your password, security PIN, email verification code, BVN or bank OTP — not on WhatsApp, Telegram or by phone. Ignore anyone offering to “speed up” your withdrawal for a fee, or to “unlock” your balance. Those are scams. Learn how to avoid scam job websites.
Also: use only your own bank account. Withdrawing to a friend’s or family member’s account can cause failed withdrawals and account checks.
Build Up Your Balance Faster
Surveys come and go, so the quickest way to reach your first ₦2,000 is to combine them with microtasks. Open the GoJelly Surveys page first, then switch to the job list when there are no surveys for you. New to tasks? Read how microtask websites work and our main guide to paid surveys in Nigeria.
